At Silkroad Daughters, we are working towards a sustainable future. We understand the problems and we are putting solutions into action. We believe that fashion can be both Stylish and Sustainable. We know so much change needs to happen for a more sustainable future.

We’re proud of what we have achieved so far and excited to progress in our ethical journey.

  • RECYCLED FABRICS

    Over 23% of our materials are now made from sustainable recycled materials. We continue to improve and increase our use of recycled fabrics as well as introducing organic materials. We are heavily involved in the production and sourcing process, which continues to be a major area of interest. We are working hard to break down our supply chain even further.

    Our products from India are made with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 fabrics and comply with global recycled standards.

  • PLANET WELL-BEING

    We understand the need to reduce our carbon emissions to improve the

    well-being of our planet. We have a long way to go but we are making changes to reduce our carbon footprint.

  • PACKAGING

    We have reduced our single-use packaging by over 50% and we aim for 90% by 2032. We are implementing recycling/ reusing policies throughout SD to reduce the amount of plastic used to reduce the impact on the environment.

    Most of our polybags and mailer bags are made from over 30% recycled materials. Most of our swing tags are made from recycled or sustainable sourced paper.
